Surgical and Non-Surgical Liposuction
Dr. Wagstrom uses three completely separate liposuction modalities in her practice. Each patient is evaluated and then a selection is made for the best result. At times, all three devices are used on the same patient.
- Traditional Liposuction – Excellent for debulking large fatty deposits, especially of the abdomen and buttocks.
- Ultrasonic Liposuction - Excellent for more fibrous fatty deposits like the saddlebags and the male chest.
- Laser Liposuction – Great for tightening skin in areas such as the neck, arms, and medial thighs. This is performed in the office with light sedation. Patients experience reduced downtime, reduced bruising and bleeding, and enjoy tightening of the skin. Lipolite (laser-assisted lipolysis) has allowed Dr. Wagstrom to offer excellent results to areas (neck, arms, medial thighs) where large scars and major recoveries were previously required.
