Working and training in different parts of the country have yielded Dr. Wagstrom an appreciation for the regional differences in approaches to surgical procedures.

Dr. Wagstrom earned her Doctorate of Medicine at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She then completed a full five-year residency in general surgery at the University of Connecticut and a two-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.

After completing the general educational requirements for plastic surgery, Dr. Wagstrom pursued an additional one-year fellowship in craniofacial surgery in Miami, Florida, developing a mastery of the aesthetic management of the face.

Upon completing her training, Dr. Wagstrom joined a group of plastic surgeons in Chicago, where she worked in private practice for three years. Today, she practices independently in Nashville, Tennessee. Her office has been providing quality plastic surgery care to the residents of Nashville and the surrounding areas for more than fifteen years.

Dr. Wagstrom is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Inc. (ASAPS). She stays updated on new technology and procedures by attending several conferences a year for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).
